Article Abstract:

Oppositional Defiant Disorder is characterized by such traits as chronic anger, irritability, vindictiveness and a tendency to blame others for mistakes. Parents of ODD children are advised to be as patient as possible and to seek the help of a therapist. Other recommended measures are discussed.

Why children need privacy

Parents need to respect their children's right to privacy as this would enable the children to foster self-reliance and individuality, according to a psychologist. A child trusted and respected at an early age is destined to grow up into a responsible and confident person.

The gift of acceptance
