This article profiles staff members of the National Organization for Women's Action Center. Women discussed are LaShawn Clinkscale, and Action Center administrator; Elizabeth Gilchrist, director of major gifts and planned giving; Olga Kolchina-Andrew, staff accountant; Linda Olsen, administrative assistant; and Lesley Nicole Ramsey, conference manager/field organizer.

Will the media merger free-for-all extinguish women's voices?

Article Abstract:

As more media companies merge, and deregulation continues, broadcasters are becoming less concerned with public responsibility and fairness. Consolidated media companies, mostly run by men, could ignore women's issues entirely. Current FCC protections that could soon be deregulated are discussed along with growing concerns about Internet access.
