Kick your credit-card habit

Article Abstract:

Credit cards can help financially if managed wisely but can also present difficulties when debts begin to pile up unchecked. Efficient credit management will not only allow shoppers to enjoy using credit privileges but also enable them to pay off their debts on time. Shoppers must be aware of how their credit cards work to be able to organize a realistic repayment plan. Otherwise, shoppers may avail of financial counselling services that would help them manage their debts. Shoppers must also discipline themselves to avoid useless purchases and wasting money.

Three things every woman should know about finances

Article Abstract:

Businesswomen can better manage their personal finances by taking three specific steps towards establishing long and short term goals for their money. Firstly, financial information concerning bank accounts, insurance policies, loans, credit cards, and other investments must be organized. Secondly, net worth can be determined by subtracting total liabilities from total assets. Lastly, cash flow must be determined in order to properly allocate finances for savings or other expenses.

Where does all the money go?

Article Abstract:

Americans spend an average of 79% of their income for taxes, housing, food, health care and transportation. Based on an assumption of $26,500 annual income, the Tax Foundation shows that in 25 years an average American spends $523,375 for these initial expenses alone. The other 21% of individual income goes to recreation, clothing, miscellaneous expenses and savings. It is shown that allotment for savings only forms 3.5% of income.
