Research from the University of Tennessee indicates that children can learn to appreciate a wider range of food tastes than widely believed if they are introduced to these foods at an early age. Parents can shape their child's eating habits between the ages of 2-8 by serving nutritious meals. Parents should also be careful to practice healthy eating habits in front of their children.
