Elbridge Gerry: the father of 'Gerrymandering.'

Elbridge Gerry born in 1744, was twice governor of Massachusettes, and served as vice president under James Madison. When governor, his name became linked with the term 'gerrymandering'. No postage stamp has been issued to honor him. As a signer of the Declaration of independence, his signature is valued.
