Get layered
Article Abstract:
Dressing in layers is the key to comfort when engaging in winter sports. The first layer should be a fabric that wicks moisture away such as polypropylene. The middle layer should be loose and versatile. A fabric such as Polartec works good. The top layer should be storm gear such as Gore-tex.

Ready for an in-tents experience?
Article Abstract:
What type of tent to buy depends on what is needed. Tarps are easy to carry but offer little shelter. Hoop tents are also light but offer more shelter and freestanding tents are the sturdiest. A good tent should be made of breathable nylon, have well-finished seams and aluminum poles.
