Look to the future: seven trends that will change the way you work in the 21st century

Article Abstract:

The workplace will be more technologically-advanced in the 21st century. As companies focus more on teamwork, more shared work space will be created. Workers will carry portable computers instead of briefcases and most office equipment will be miniaturized. Work will generally be home-based resulting in more company-established work-at-home policies and programs. Pen-based computers will likewise be increasingly available and clerical work will be computer-aided. Office buildings are also expected to have state-of-the-art facilities.
