A student living in Washington, D.C. describes her experience of visiting the Marine Corps War Memorial in Virginia with her father who was in US Marine during the Vietnam War. The Iwo Jima memorial and the Marine Corps War Memorial serve as a reminder that courage and bravery are still there, waiting for an opportunity to show when most needed.
