Keeping current at work
Article Abstract:
Managers must constantly update themselves on the new developments in technology and business trends in an increasingly competitive work environment in order to stay ahead. Being a top executive no longer guarantees security as businesses change. Managers must equip themselves with new skills through seminars or classes and learn about new technologies to stay competitive. Skills can also be learned through interaction with employees of different firms and through the reading of management periodicals.
