Suggestions are presented on how to make the most of a cardiovascular workout. Suggestions include waking up 10 minutes earlier in the morning to walk or run or use an exercise bicycle, adding a mile to a daily walk, or alternating strength-training exercises with one-minute jogging-in-place bursts.
