Making money in retirement
Article Abstract:
Retirement should not be equated to life without work because retired people can still earn money after leaving their jobs. Retirees can opt to set up their own business or go into partnerships with friends and former co-workers to have a source of income. The business does not need to be big and capital-intensive to allow them time to enjoy themselves and be free from pressure and stress. However, the business should not make them stagnant. It should give them a chance to apply their knowledge, use their skills or expand their business education.

When age is an asset
Article Abstract:
Several organizations prefer to hire retired working women aged 45-60 over younger ones because they are more experienced, flexible and stable. These women, who often find that work boosts their self-esteem, can handle more responsibilities and are rarely after career development. Retired businesswomen are advised to evaluate their skills since these may again be useful if they decide to work again.
