Making room for a sibling

Parents who are expecting a new baby and have older small children must make the older child feel wanted. Making personal time with the older child and emphasizing their role as a sibling may appease their worries. Children may also regress at this time.

"I've been a mom for a year now."

Thumb sucking and pacifiers: good or bad?

Article Abstract:

Thumbsucking before the age of four or five is normal, healthy behavior. Parents should not try to make children stop sucking on thumbs or pacifiers, as they will most likely do so on their own.
