An expert panel convened by the National Cancer Institute concludes that the decision to undergo mammography rests solely on each woman. Despite the controversy, the American Cancer Society remains firm in its recommendation of mammograms every one to two years for women in their forties.

Painkillers plus alcohol can be toxic

There is mounting evidence that combining acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage and even death. Alcohol can accelerate the production of toxin in the liver and can reduce the levels of glutathione that acts to neutralize the toxin.
