Members join military forces to fight the war on terrorism: life in Iraq: one woman's story

Article Abstract:

Field software engineer, Tina Ackles, who was posted in Iraq, recollects the reaction of the people and children of Iraq, towards her, as she was the only female contractor and appreciates the support provided by the military. The constant fear of attacks from the insurgents, the lack of protection offered by the tent and her experience in Iraq has made her look at life in a different way.
