"My teacher hates me!" How to be supportive, tactful and effective in this tricky situation

Children may believe their new teacher hates them, but such feelings may be designed to cover up feelings or feelings they do not understand. Children may be more sensitive or more active than their teachers, or have a learning disability. Parent-teacher communication is needed to resolve issues.
