NOW/PAC announces inaugural Victory 2000 Support Committee
Article Abstract:
The Political Action Committee of the National Organization for Women (NOW) is discussed. The group is asking members to pledge to send an amount of money monthly to help win elections in Congress and in key state legislatures. Fear that anti-feminist candidates might win controlling power in both houses of Congress and perhaps win the White House has inspired the committee to work to raise almost $1 mil/mon.
