NOW to protest the brutal murder of Juarez women
Article Abstract:
The murder of hundreds of women in Juarez, Mexico, has become the focus of a recommendation developed at the National Organization for Women (NOW) Foundation's Women of Color and Allies Summit (WOCA) in April 2005. NOW activists are hence proposing a number of ways to take action and create visibility around this issue, and the NOW national board of directors voted to hold its December 2005 meeting in El Paso, Texas to participate in protest actions.

Young feminists tune in, turn out for reproductive freedom
Article Abstract:
Young feminist join the fight for reproductive freedom as NOW's Coordinator of Young Feminist Programs organized a tour called 'Access Denied: Fighting for Our Rights' at 17 colleges and universities across four states in 2006. In response to the South Dakota policy to ban abortion the young feminists spoke to young women and men about the threats to their bodies and their rights and their lives.
