NOW to protest the brutal murder of Juarez women

Article Abstract:

The murder of hundreds of women in Juarez, Mexico, has become the focus of a recommendation developed at the National Organization for Women (NOW) Foundation's Women of Color and Allies Summit (WOCA) in April 2005. NOW activists are hence proposing a number of ways to take action and create visibility around this issue, and the NOW national board of directors voted to hold its December 2005 meeting in El Paso, Texas to participate in protest actions.
