The Story of Chaim Rumkowski and the Jews of Lodz
Article Abstract:
This film, The Jews of Lodz, is about a Jewish textile worker's attempts to save lives in the Polish city of Lodz. The worker was hired by the Nazis to administer fire, police, education, sanitation and medicine in the Jewish ghetto,. Upon learning of the Nazi plan to exterminate the Jews, he tried to make Lodz an indispensible industrial city. He was later killed by Jews at Auschwitz, as a traitor. This is a very provocative film of the holocaust. The film costs $900 for 16mm, and $750 for 3-4" video. It is produced by the Cinema Guild.

Rebecca Lobo's talent and love for sports, especially football and basketball, was evident at her young age. She was named player of the year in the 1993-94 season of the Big East conference and was chosen as a Kodak All-American.
