A mother is upset by her parents' attempts to make her 1-yr-old daughter do 'tricks' such as repeat words or turn around. She is told to teach her parents about contemporary parenting, confront her parents about it, or to offer her daughter other things to do.

Boy or girl? Only dad wants to know

Fathers who want to know the sex of their child before birth have a right to this information, but should keep it to themselves if the mother does not want to know. Mothers, in turn, should not pressure the fathers for an answer.
