Handbags are almost exclusively women's territory and a lot can be told about a woman from what she carries around in her handbag. Starting as little girls with dainty toy handbags, and moving through the lipstick-carrying teens to the kitchen-sink-toting motherhood years, women have made handbags an important part of their lives.

Young children are like dogs because they admire their parents and follow them around. Children become more like cats around the age of 13, when they sleep more, avoid affection and stop listening to their parents. They still need love and affection and will eventually outgrow this phase.
