Outdo yourself: trying to do what you think you can't can have immeasurable rewards

A woman described how a mountain-climbing trip taught her that she could achieve a goal that seemed impossible. She was able to continue the climb, despite having altitude sickness, by remembering her recently deceased mother's advice to do her best.
