Dept of Agriculture Equal Employment Specialist Pearline E. Motley exemplifies the successful working woman who has made the most of her opportunities. She actively participates in discussions promoting women's issues and states that women's progress has been blocked in both the private and public sectors. She believes that women should be given the chance to excel and become assets to their companies. She plans to open her own counseling office and vows to keep assisting other women in their quest for achievement and excellence.

Navigating your financial future

Article Abstract:

Retirement for women of the 1990s is totally different from their parents'. They are most likely to take a second career either as a matter of choice or out of necessity. Most are also not prepared and need to educate themselves about retirement planning. The best way to start a retirement savings is through automatic paycheck withdrawal. Women should also learn how to make the most out of their company retirement plan also keep it a priority when making career changes.

These common wardrobe errors are not having a personal style, being too conservative, sexy or trendy, sticking too tightly to a budget, not being 'pulled together' or creating a polished impression and wearing clothes that do not fit.
