AIDS and the politics of compassion
Article Abstract:
The AIDS epidemic has put a tremendous strain on all levels of our nation's social support structure. Naturally, the greatest pressure is on our health care systems. With steadily increasing numbers of new cases, everyone must work towards greater understanding and compassion. The shortcomings of our current social structure only exacerbate the problem.

One or two house plants can clean the indoor air pollution from a 100-square-foot room overnight. Plants that need frequent watering are the best types to use. These include Boston ferns, ficus trees and philodendrons.
