Fathers are more likely to play with their children on the weekends, and mothers are more likely to do housework. Alternative activities to do at a child's birthday party are described. The development of a child's food and nutrition habits should be determined by the child.

Children often give up their naps between the ages of three and four, but do not seem to get enough sleep. Ways to evaluate and change a child's sleep habits are given. Preschoolers need to be supervised when playing outside for safety reasons. Other issues are addressed.
