Professional 'temps' for hire
Article Abstract:
The National Association of Temporary and Staffing Services has reported that women comprise about 72% of temporary workers in the US. The industry is experiencing a boom in demand for temporary employee placement due to factors such as corporate downsizing. Temporary workers enjoy greater job flexibility while aiding firms in minimizing expenses such as health, taxes, and compensation. Several employment agencies that specialize in temporary services such as MacStaffers, AccountExecs, and System One have emerged as result of the demand of employers.
