A 2003 survey of adults earning between $25,000 and $75,000 a year showed that 50 percent were worried about money and any illness or crisis could adversely affect the family. Some ways to maintain ones balance while going through financial crisis include not being shameful of oneself, rethinking one's resources and reaching out for moral support.
