Rethinking the ABCs

Article Abstract:

Taking vitamins may reduce the risk of some diseases and disorders. Antioxidants such as vitamins C, E and beta carotene may prevent heart disease, cancer and cataracts. Vitamin B6 and B12 may control a harmful amino acid called homocysteine. Recommended doses of vitamins for women are presented.
