Runaway toddler

Active toddlers are difficult to keep track of, and one mother describes a time when her son left the house and wandered into the street. The boy was not injured, but both mother and son realized the need to be more careful rather than get frustrated.

Two year-olds

Two-year-olds often exhibit signs of being mentally gifted. Parents are encouraged to treat their toddlers as special even if they do not show signs of giftedness. Two-year-olds need to be taught that lawn mowers are machines to prevent accidents.
