Rural Ugandan women and the technological race to the 21st century
Article Abstract:
This article describes the challenge of helping women in Uganda and other developing countries become technologically literate. The use of technology to reduce women's domestic workloads, understanding the potential market for appropriate technology, and partnerships between developed and the undeveloped world are discussed.

Rural Ugandan women's views about their health and health services
Article Abstract:
A survey of 80 rural Ugandan women, and health issues they face, is presented. A wide variety of health probems have been reported, with HIV/AIDS having the greatest impact on individuals and families.
