Menopause without hormones

Some Canadian women turn to hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to ease the symptoms of menopause. For women who cannot take HRT due to an illness or fear of the side effects, other options are available, including drugs, herbal and homeopathic remedies, acupuncture and psychiatric counseling.

It is wise to talk about safe sex with a potential partner in the age of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). One of the suggested ways of opening the topic is by discussing favorite sexy scenes from a movie. Another way is to express fear of a particular STD.
