Shaken baby syndrome

Shaken baby syndrome is a brain injury in infants resulting from excessive shaking of a baby's head. It usually strikes children under one year. Parents should not shake their babies when they get angry at them. They should put the baby in a safe place until they regain composure.

Varicose veins

About half of all pregnant women get varicose veins, and in some cases they can turn into serious problems later on. Three treatments for varicose veins are discussed: sclerotherapy, or injections, laser therapy and surgery.
