Sibling at the birth

Article Abstract:

An expectant mother wants to have her 4-yr-old son attend the birth of her new child, but worries that this may not be a good idea. She is told to prepare her son for this event by showing him videos of a birth, and to have a caregiver for her son if he becomes scared and wants to leave.

Whey baby cries and cries...

A mother discusses her fatigue from caring for her newborn child, who always screams when put to bed. She is told to first verify that nothing is wrong with the baby's health, and then to let the baby cry. Help from a partner in caring for the child is also recommended.
