Fat can be eliminated and healthy nutrients incorporated into one's diet in a number of ways. The trick is to substitute a lower-fat food for one that is high in fat, such as tofu in cheesecake and baby food prunes in chocolate desserts. Many other similar sneaky little tricks are presented.

Air travel can cause a break in good nutritional habits. Layovers can mean snacking at the airport, and in-flight meals can leave a lot to be desired. Packing nutritious snacks, and ordering special meals from the airline are usually advisable.
