Wei East Skin Care's Wei Yang Brian was born in China but went to the United States when she received a sholarship to Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she took her master's degree in computer science. She decided to return to China and make beauty products from remedies she learned during childhood. The challenges she faced before her brand became a success are discussed.

Richard J. Davidson of the University of Wisconsin Madison Laboratory for Affective Neuroscience has been conducting research on the brain structures behind different emotions, particularly those behind happiness. He discovered which areas of the brains light up under the state of being happy. His findings on how to control and increase happiness are presented.
