Some 2,200 Canadian women are afflicted with ovarian cancer annually, but doctors find it hard to diagnose this 'silent killer' during its early stages. However, new discoveries in prevention, detection and treatment are expected to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer.
