Striving to reach 50 by 50. Skow is second to achieve goal

Article Abstract:

Laura Skow is a sponsor for the American Business Women's Assn (ABWA). The association is composed of women in business from all over the US. Skow has managed to sponsor 45 women during her membership with the ABWA and needs five more to complete her target number of 50. Current members must continue sponsoring new members to keep the association active. ABWA members invite women from all over the US to band together to enjoy the benefits of being part of a major network of businesswomen.

ABWA follows the vision of Hilary A. Bufton Jr

Article Abstract:

Hilary A. Bufton Jr, was one of the founding members of the American Business Women's Organization. He conceived the idea during the post-Second World War era when most of the men have returned and no longer needed the services of the women in the factories and in other major industries where the women took over after a large percentage of the male population were drafted to fight the war overseas. The first members met and convened in Sept 22, 1949 in Kansas City.
