ABWA follows the vision of Hilary A. Bufton Jr
Article Abstract:
Hilary A. Bufton Jr, was one of the founding members of the American Business Women's Organization. He conceived the idea during the post-Second World War era when most of the men have returned and no longer needed the services of the women in the factories and in other major industries where the women took over after a large percentage of the male population were drafted to fight the war overseas. The first members met and convened in Sept 22, 1949 in Kansas City.
