Tapping into the ABWA network

The American Business Women's Assn.'s (ABWA) network offers numerous opportunities for women to forge new deals and enhance their business' performance. To maximize the benefits provided by the network, ABWA members suggest taking advantage ABWA meetings and events to make business referrals, offering discounts to ABWA members to boost sales and advertising in ABWA newsletters. ABWA members will also benefit from donating to the organization, hosting fund-raisers and participating in exhibits and conventions.

Article Abstract:
The American Business Women's Assn recognizes the value of networking in unifying and improving the functions of an organization. Through networking, the members would be able to share their insights on worthy activities spearheaded by different ABWA chapters. The organization also plans to exploit networking capabilities to further the ABWA's goal of advancing women's professional and personal lives. As such, it plans to conduct seminars and to publish books and readings on networking.

A career blossoms with help from ABWA
Article Abstract:
The career of Peggy Jacobson as accountant from Kansas City, Mo flourished when she joined ABWA. She learned how to love her work, how to plan her future and how climb the career ladder. Furthermore, she also learned how important it is to set goals for herself and to guide others to achieve their own goals. Moreover, ABWA also honed her leadership skills over the years and gave her the connections that enabled her to become the president of a landscaping company.
