Hill, 36, was the first woman to redpoint a 5.14 grade and is a member of the North Face Climbing Team. She says climbing is a good sport for women because it teaches perseverance, self-confidence and problem solving. She also discusses her first climbing experience, body weight and other issues.

Some say that ice climbing is the last true area for high adventure. A woman recounts how she did ice climbing, but with a difference. She climbed a 150-ft-high frozen waterfall near Banff, Canada. This type of ice climbing is gaining in popularity.
