George Lucas' 1973 film "American Graffiti" and Richard Linklater's film "Dazed in Confused" released in 1993 are some of the movies set within a 24-hour timeframe. These films, reminiscent of the famous television show "24", impart a sense of time running out. Other 24-hour movies, such as "Do The Right Thing" by Spike Lee, are discussed.
