Pets can be kept happy during winter in various ways. These include rinsing their paws in warm water after a walk, fortifying their diets, regular brushing, a winter coat and one or two walks daily. Cats should be kept indoors during the season and fed a low-calorie diet to prevent excessive weight gain.
