Sports medicine specialist Lewis G. Maharam developed a method that helps people develop exercise programs that generate exercise highs. The highs are due to a combination of physiological and psychological factors. They are so rewarding that they help people stick to their exercise programs.

Experts are finding that less exercise is needed to attain physical benefits than previously believed. It is necessary to burn about 1,500 calories weekly to produce health benefits. Consistency is more important than intensity.

She sculpts muscles by the seashore
