Hard-earned lessons in investing

Article Abstract:

Many people believe that only the elite in Wall Street can succeed in stock investment and other individuals including themselves cannot. This belief is wrong because everyone has the opportunity to do well in stock investment especially if they obey the basic rules in stock investing. The first rule is "Buy and Hold", which says hold on to the stocks and it will sure to earn money. The next rule is to select high-quality companies rather than unknown ones. Also, professional advice can be sought in order to achieve goals which is earning money.

Lee Hays: a literary reconsideration

Article Abstract:

Lee Hays, popularly known as a member of the folk group the Weavers, made significant contributions to Southern musical and oral tradition. Hays felt musicians should combine technical mastery, formal understanding, and coherence to be socially effective and accessible. Much of his literary efforts supported labor and social struggles, dramatizing folk performance in film, nonfiction prose, and drama.
