Cross-training programs include among others a combination of aerobic and anaerobic activities. It is a program designed to fortify the muscles, heart and balance. This can be fully achieved if the workout is done outdoors like skiing, biking and hiking.

Article Abstract:

Bouldering entails the use of hands and feet instead of ropes in climbing low rock structures. It promotes strength, flexibility and hand-eye coordination. Bouldering also serves as a preparation to rock climbing by improving climbing techniques.
