The new generation gap
Article Abstract:
Each generation has its own values, motivations and life experiences that affect their attitudes and behavior in the corporate organization. Generational gaps occur only when people do not consider the individual differences and situational influences that shaped others belonging to another generation. The key to a better corporate relations is to recognize that matures, baby boomers and Gen Xers also have similarities in that they all appreciate clearly established goals, challenging jobs, relevant and timely feedback, recognition for excellent performance and attractive rewards.

The call to manage diversity
Article Abstract:
Diversity management is very difficult and critical because companies that are not educating employees and does not recognize it may lose millions of dollars in terms of discrimination lawsuits and declining market shares. Furthermore, it is a challenge to the management to find solutions to eliminate the differences that divide workers and personal biases through sensitivity and cultural awareness training. Moreover, companies can increase their market share and can attain a better business performance if they can manage diversity effectively.
