The pill is safe
Article Abstract:
Research on the use of low-dosage birth control pills by nonsmoking women has found evidence of health benefits rather than risks. The pill prevents cancer of the reproductive tract and may protect against urinary tract infections and pelvic inflammatory disease. Its effect on breast cancer is unclear and needs further research.

Diagnosis: hypochondria
Article Abstract:
There is mounting evidence that suggest physiological sensitivity may be at the core of hypochondria, and whose symptoms may be alleviated by new treatment strategies. The old notion that hypochondria is "all in the head" has been supplanted by research showing the response to stimulus of hypochondriacs.
