The power of a suit

A writer, who never cared about clothes, narrates her experience that made her realize that clothes can have mood-lifting results. Earlier she never paid much attention to her attire but when she asked to make a two-minute appearance on television to talk about her new book, she was urged by her publicist to visit an expensive store to buy a suit that accentuated her shape and transformed her completely.

The mother dance

Article Abstract:

A woman, pregnant, and on medication for anxieties and depression, discusses the meditative qualities of dance and its centering nature. Concerns regarding the ability of somebody diagnosed with these illnesses parenting is also addressed. The importance of taking that personal time, even if for just an hour, is emphasized and encouraged to prevent burn out, both mentally and physically.
