Teacher Deborah Tobin has dedicated her life to saving the endangered right whales. Aside from educating people on whale conservation, she has managed to persuade navy officials to cease military exercises in the Bay of Fundy and obtained research funding from the Canadian Dept of Fisheries and Oceans.
