A first-hand account is presented of a woman who learned that a consistent exercise routine is the key to losing weight and maintaining an ideal body weight. The woman simply started out by walking and then incorporated other physical activities, along with a more nutritious diet.

A woman who was overweight discusses how she lost weight while on an exchange program in Quebec, where she exercised and did not snack. She continued to lose weight after this by exercising regularly and eating less fat.
