The woman's vitamin

Most women receive less than 50% of the recommended amount of folic acid even though research has shown that the B vitamin can reduce the risk of neural tube birth defects and cervical cancer. Women should supplement their diets with a multivitamin that includes folic acid.

Why your bones may need more magnesium

Article Abstract:

Women may need more magnesium than calcium to keep their bones from becoming brittle in old age. A study on postmenopausal women on estrogen therapy showed an 11% increase in bone hardness when less calcium and more magnesium was consumed.
