To have a baby now - or never?: a 30-year-old faces the most difficult choice of her life

A 30-year-old divorcee relates her dilemma of whether she should have a baby or not. She has been diagnosed with endometriosis and her doctor suggested that she have a baby before she is forced to have a hysterectomy which will render her infertile. She decides to have one by Christmas of 1999.
